Последняя версия Lunascape
The Lunascape developers have taken the three most popular rendering engines (Trident, Gecko, WebKit) and have integrated them inside a single, customizable web browser.
Lunascape comes with over one hundred built-in functions that save you the hassle of installing extensions by hand. Since there is no need to install a lot of add-ons, you can browse comfortably and safely without worrying about speed issues or security risks.
Key features include:
- Quick search with highlighted search.
- Comfortable high-speed browsing.
- Gecko add-on support.
- Cascade view.
- Versatile tab menu.
- Multi tabbed rows.
- Customizable toolbar.
By clicking the smart engine-switch button next to the address bar, it is very simple to switch rendering engine for any page, until you find the engine most suitable for displaying the page contents. Sites designed exclusively for Trident (e.g.bank sites) can be registered in the Auto-Engine-Switch list, so that even if the default engine is Gecko, opening the Trident page automatically switches the rendering engine for that tab to Trident.
Lunascape is built on independently developed technology, and the developers claim it is faster than other browsers that use the Gecko engine, in terms of both startup speed and javascript execution.
Lunascape displays web pages in tabs, each of which comes equipped with a comprehensive menu available by right-clicking on the tab title. Via this menu you have instant access to all the operations that are applicable to the associated tab, such as switching the rendering engine and capturing the page. Lunascape, also has multi-row tabbed bars that display your tabs on as many rows as required, whilst retaining the width of individual tabs. Alternatively, if you wish to you can specify that all tabs be kept in a single row.
Overall, Lunascape is a capable browser, albeit a tad cumbersome, and whilst it does have a few neat tricks up its sleeve, such as support for mouse gestures, Gecko add-on support and multi tabbed rows, it still seems like just another clone? With this in mind, Lunascape may or may not be the browsing experience you are looking for.
