Dernier Comodo Programs Manager
Comodo Programs Manager is an app management tool that allows you to organize the software and apps on your system. It has been designed to let you enable, disable, and update software, as well as remove any broken installations or failed uninstalls that clutter the registry and your hard drive.
Key Features include:
- Completely delete partial uninstalls.
- Detect and remove unwanted junk files.
- Monitor all changes in your system.
- Manage Windows features easily.
- Restore uninstallations safely.
When you run Comodo Programs Manager, it scans your hard drive and presents you with a content summary screen. This consists of a main area and a dark grey column, on the left hand side, housing four categories: Programs, Drivers and Services, Windows Features, and Windows Updates.
By clicking on a category you can then select a program, driver or service that you wish to uninstall. When you click ‘Standard Uninstall’ this removes the program from your system. Some programs give you the option to ‘Change’ the process. This is where you can modify the program to add or remove certain features. The ’Repair’ option allows you to fix a damaged installation.
If you choose ‘Drivers and Services’ this allows you to remove drivers. A word of caution here, if you are not used to managing drivers for your system then it is recommended to keep well away as uninstalling a driver can potentially cripple your system.
The ‘Windows Updates’ section lets you view all of the installed updates, as well as a list of available updates. If your system requires new updates, then simply check the appropriate app boxes and click the ‘Install’ button in the lower-right hand corner to install that particular update.
Overall, Comodo Programs Manager has a simple user interface that is easy to navigate. It lets you completely remove unwanted apps, drivers and Windows components from your PC, and provides you with a better way to manage your system.
